People come to the Snowy Mountains for various reasons.
On Queen’s Birthday weekend the Ski Season officially starts (weather dependant) and goes on until September so this is the main season.
Lake Eucumbene is popular with Trout Fisherman all year round but mostly during the low season.
There are numerous other things to do such as Bushwalking, Mountain Biking, Golf (Cooma and Adaminaby) as well as local events and attractions.
